My grandson is crazy about dino's, especially triceratops so my daughter took him to a museum to hunt dinosaur eggs on Good Friday.  He was so excited when he saw the triceratop move he yelled "It's awake". His expression in the triceratop picture tells it all.   I used this dino kit that Kristin Aagard made.

I haven't been feeling the best lately so I have been sitting quietly in my playroom and making cards.  My sweet friend Jenn said I should post these showing the different uses for this scalloped die from CC Designs.  

I love this little die.  I made three layers on elephant card and one and two layers as teeth on all the monster cards. Plus on the blue monster card, the horns are actually a scallop also.  Hope you have a great day!

Well, we knew they have been talking about getting married, JD even asked Jim and the boys but we didn't think it was going to happen for a little while.  We are so happy to welcome JD into our family. He is such a great guy and I don't believe I have EVER seen Brandy happier....except maybe when the boys were born. They make each other radiate happiness, Congratulations you two.  Reception and celebration of their marriage will follow when it is a little cooler.

I have been absent for awhile dealing with grand kids, life and new adventures.  On February 20th, 2015 I was blessed to join a family of people who's core belief is to share and make people happy.

Not only have I become a much happier person , I love that I am able to share this experience with others.

I am still playing with my Copics and paper crafting but I will be throwing a few things in from my new adventure.

I also took a class from jessicasprague.com called Typeology which was fantastic....LOVED, LOVED, LOVED that class.  If you are new to scrapbooking or want to learn how to use photoshop, this is the gal for you. She has an awesome website, support team and the videos are yours for life when you take the class.  She even has some free classes to try out....

Jenn D's Shower

We threw Jennifer Dove a baby shower Saturday.  Jennifer L came up with the Mad Hatter theme and we all ran with it.  Jan G did the cake and cupcakes which turned out adorable, Jenn D was HILARIOUS (but I wont post those pictures).  She is showing off what she calls the "jailbird" outfit which was adorable too.  Court and I made a small fruit display. Hard to see but we put a huge cup and saucer on the top and skewers coming out.  Jenn L designed the backdrop with the colors of little Miss B's room.  A really great and absolutely historical group of friends showed up and made this shower a blast. Lots of laughs. Can't wait to meet this little girl on September 18th!

Teacher Appreciation Week

Today my daughter and I went to her son's school and built this for the teachers and staff to show them how much we appreciate all they do. My grandsons teacher is AWESOME and he loves her to pieces. The staff is outstanding also so we decided to show them how we feel about them.  Have a great day and if you are a teacher yourself.....thanks for sharing your talents with all our kids!
