Independence Day and Wedding

Family has gone home and the wedding is over so life is slowly getting back to normal (whatever that is--HA). I thought I would share an early 4th freebie with you. You can snatch it here. I snapped a few pictures at the wedding of the lovely bride & groom. The groom is my nephew and the last to be married in his family. His older sister was married on the 17th of April ---last year, then his younger brother got married on may 16th of last year. This wedding was the 16th of April so you can imagine what his mom has been going through. Three weddings with in a years time. I know she is exhausted and glad she stopped at three kids. LOL They have been complaining that they only get to buy grand cat and grand dog toys so now with all three married....maybe, just maybe that will change. The wedding was at Stonebridge Manor in Mesa, AZ and it was simply beautiful. Plush grounds with flowers and greenery everywhere. The bride chose yellows, oranges and greens as her color scheme. Everything was beautiful. here is a page to give you a hint of how it truly gorgeous it was.

Birthday cards

My daughter-in-law and grandson share the same birthday so I have actually been making cards....shocking I know. This is a card for my DIL using an image freebie from Cuddly Buddy, the sentiment is a SU stamp. She likes bling so I had to use some jewels on it for her. I started this card for her but didn't like how it turned out so this goes into my pile of emergency cards. The image I believe is a Dustin Pike image.....i printed it some time ago so my memory is faded on it...it looks like his style though. You can't really see it but I used crystal effects on the toenails so they look like they are polished.

This one is for my grandson who just turned 5....he immediately tore the dragon off the card and asked if he could hang it on his wall. I thought that was cute. I used another Dustin Pike image for this card.

Birthday Frog

I was contacted by a friend who was a great neighbor for the longest time. They moved to Flagstaff & we lost contact until she found me on Facebook. Her hubby is one of the funniest guys I know and they are throwing him a surprise birthday party and have invited us. It will be great to see them. I made this for his birthday card.......he is almost a "senior citizen"...LOL. Anyway I thought I would share it with you here.
