Wedding card

We have some friends who tied the knot on August 1st in Vegas & for those of us who couldn't make it, there is a reception tonight. I made this simple card for them and thought I would share it with you. I do have other cards to post...just haven't taken the time to take pictures of them. My camera is having problems. It quit taking pictures & my friend Jenn did some surgery on it so at least now it takes pictures but it still isn't right. I just may have to invest in a new camera, I just hate spending the money right now. Enough whining! I need to go finish the laundry. FUN-FUN-FUN! have a great weekend.

Weekend fun

I had some time to play this weekend so I drug out images that I have that have been sitting around with no ink on them. I have had some so long I don't remember who the stamps are by,I should have written it down at the time I stamped them but I didn't. I love the images though.

This monster is a Dustin Pike image. This was fun to color.

This is a font that thought was too cute not to color. Hope you had a great weekend too. Off to irrigate for the next 20 hours. I am going to try to play a little more in between switching borders & fighting gophers. LOL

Wednesday cards

Yesterday was lots of fun! We haven't stamped in about 2 months so it was really nice to get together for some girl time. This 1st card was what Vickie came up with...sort of. I didn't pay very close attention & cut my image out wrong so I had to improvise. Vickie just got this new SU! stamp set called Good Cheer. We all loved it.

Laura's card was awesome too. I am not sure who's stamp it is but I love the delicate flower and Laura's color combo is wonderful.

What can you say....Sam found this adorable template in a Cards Book and cut the template out so we could case her card. Love the 3 dimension on this card.

This is my card, we used a Dustin Pike image, hard to see but he has stickles on him and another type of stickles for the snow. his scarf, nose and the birdhouse are popped out. Prisma markers were used to color him. That's all the cards we had time for and the company was great. Thanks to all for your wonderful shoebox ideas!

New Grandson

I did my & pages....even if I did cheat & use quick pages from the Shabby Princess ultimate baby album Prince (www.theshabbyshoppe.com). I decided not to journal too much because there is a journal page that coordinates with the album that I will fill in. I did change the saturation level to make the pages more vibrant. I was so blessed to be a part of his birth, Mommy, Daddy and baby were wonderful in their combined effort during this miraculous experience. Love you all!

Exciting Week

I made this page before we flew out to San Antonio but just didn't have time to get it posted. I started this over a year ago when I was taking a class with JessicaSprague.com . It was a bonus class to show you how to have your type fit into half a circle. Most of the page was completed but it was put on the back burner & forgotten about. I found it and decided to finish it.

A Little Digi

I had a little fun today creating this page of DGS with the chickens. I have so many older pictures I need to get done so I am going to try to scrap 7 pictures a week to try & catch up. I love this cluster frame using Sara's RiseNShine .
