I Caved In!

I haven't been posting lately because I seem to always be on the Fair Access Policy threshold. I caved in and went to a higher bandwidth so now i have a little more freedom to post. I was saving my bandwidth for my (Fabulous) online classes at www.jessicaSprague.com. I have taken an ACDSEE class with Heidi Vanyo and a Photography class(which is still going on) with Candice Stringham and now a Digi:In Deep class with Jessica. I also have stamped a few times with my stamping friends plus have been making save the date cards for 2 nieces and working on a wedding favor for another close friend. I thought I would show you a little of what i have been up to lately.

This card is using a new SU! up and coming hostess set and new cardstock color....more info coming soon!

Carolyn came up with the next card. She used a SU! set called Embrace Life with Mellow moss, Groovy Guava & I believe we used Ruby Red. The sentiment is unknown. Thanks Carolyn for such a nice card.

Marie came up with the brown card, I cheated & used another up & coming SU! set and the flower is from Happy Harmony, another SU! set. The corners were cut by Sam on her Cricut.
Another nice card...Thanks Marie.

Here is a layout using a tutorial I found on Jessica's blog. I wasn't going to post this but my friend Jenn is making me do it so she can see it. The paper is by mzimmerman from smiles & Joy the flourish is AVictoria web challenge103 at Designer Digitals. I apologize I am not familiar with all my fonts & I should have written this down.

Rachele came up with this Watermelon card folder that I said I would post but haven't yet so here it is Rachele......and by the Way who said you could be in Calif on your birthday. I was all set to bring you your birthday goodie & Jenn told me to save my gas because you weren't home. Happy belated Birthday!!!! I will get your goodie to you now that I found out you are back.
The next two cards were inspired by Michelle Wooderson . I love her blog. She always has the best stuff to inspire & case. She doesn't know it but i am a frequent lurker on her blog. Well work the visit.

I saw this card in an old Creating Keepsakes magazine & tweaked it a tad but not much. Sentiments were done on the computer.

This is the awesome class I took today at Jessica's. i started this class at 6am & worked on it until 2:30 in the afternoon. I did stop for lunch & a couple of breaks. What a challenge, i think I will need to do this layout a few more time(many more) to remember all the steps that we were taught today. I love this class! Tons of classmates were saying WOW! and they are right. Anyway thanks for looking. Hopefully I will post a little more regular now that i have a little more freedom.

Jessica Sprague ShaZAM Challenge

Jessica Sprague has a photo challenge so I took it.

She has a wonderful tutorial on how to make your pictures POP and is giving away a custom made camera strap....go check it out here.

Jessica offers several tutorials for pictures & photoshop on her Spraguelab site but the best is her classes. I am sad because today is the last day of our Now we're Rockin' class. I have learned so much from her and it just makes me want to learn more. I am also taking a photography class taught by Candice Stringham through Jessica's site so I will keep busy until the Deep in Digi class starts.

I know, I know....I do have some cards to post, I just need to capture them on the camera first.

Have a super Sunday!

2 page spread

We haven't been stamping lately so all I have to post is my last class lesson which is a 2 page spread. I loved this class at JessicaSprague.com . If you are thinking about trying your hand at learning Photoshop, I highly recommend taking Jessica's class. She truly makes learning fun and easy. You have access to her video tutorials forever so if you forget you can go back and review as many times as necessary. I can't wait for the next class & then there is 1 more after that. I hope she continues to come up with more classes.

I did try one more page on my own using the supplies from my class to show you what else has been going on here. My daughter, her husband and my 3 grandsons are staying with us til they find a house and their dog had puppies.....6 of them, so between my four dogs, her 2 dogs and 6 puppies.....(YEP, that's 12 dogs) we have been busy. The pups will be 6 weeks old next week so they will be finding new homes soon. They sure are cute and playful.
Well I am going stamping today. I will post the cards later.....including the project I finished that Rachele came up with. (She didn't think I finished it) Happy hump day to all!

NWR Week 1

This is the 1st completed page for my class with Jessica Sprague. We learned how to bring color back into a picture when it has been turned to sepia tones. We also worked on journaling blocks.

Self Restricted

OK ....I have not been on my blog deliberately due to the fact I had a Now We're Rockin class with Jessica Sprague coming up and I didn't want to be in violation of the Fair access Policy again. I am now trying to make up for my absence the cards I have been making. I felt like my mojo was out the window for some time so I went thru some OLD, OLD swaps to inspire myself and cased several of them. I am sorry if any of these are similar to your cards but I have lost names & papers from the swaps so if you see some that looks like yours please post that they may be yours.

This card was cased from my friend Jenn, she received it from someone else & when I went to pick up my loot from her shop..Just4funcrafts.com I loved it & thus cased it.
Monday, Jenn, Rachele & I got together to stamp & this was the shoebox card that Jenn came up with. She got the tutorial from Markie's Mom's blog. This picture doesn't do it justice....it is really pretty in person with all the glitter and bobbles.

I used SU! Pun Fun for this little birdhouse card. Cardstock is More mustard.

This card uses SU! Fast & Fun Notes.

My sweet Friend Vickie sent me this RAK which is so appropriate for me. When we would leave our Wednesday group, I would have her stop at Sonic for an Ice Cream cone so she decided to make me one too. Thanks Vickie!

Sue Ann came up with this chalk technique card for us to work on at Laura's house last Wednesday....or maybe it was a week ago but anyway I love how it turned out.

This was the shoebox card I came up with, it is using the SU notes that are being promoted right now.

More SU! Fun Pun with the little skunk. The monkey card is another card i came up with to do at Laura's.

Hope you all have a great week and hopefully it will not be so far between next time. Happy Stamping!

Golden Bouquet

I hope you are having a good Memorial weekend. I thought I would share what I have been up to. I have a sweet friend who is giving her sister $50.00 of gold coins for her 50th wedding anniversary. She wanted to present them to her in a unique way so I volunteered to help her out. I bought a cute little picket fence container, filled it with floral sponge and moss. I then used wooden skewers and attached my cricut flowers that I cuttlebugged to the end of the skewers. I then used the dollar coins for the centers of the flowers. I didn't take a picture of the finished project that is all wrapped in cellophane and tied with ribbons but I can tell you it looks much cuter in real life. Hope she likes it. Have a great rest of the long weekend!
