Variety

I hope you had a wonderful Easter. I had such a great weekend. I was able to see all 5 of my grand kids. I love how different each of their personalities are. I know I have been away from my blog for a while so I am going to try & make up for it in this post. I was lucky to see all my stamping friends at a little gathering at my upline Diane's house last Wednesday. We had a great time visiting & eating yummy food. Laura who went back to work at a school was on spring
break was there and she brought each one of us a cute little carrot filled with goodies. I copied her idea and made my grand kids one too, They loved them! Thanks Laura.

My friend Vicky who has only been stamping for a very short time( maybe 3 months) made the regular Wednesday girls each a basket from a tutorial she found thru SCS I believe. Pretty wonderful for such a newbie! Thanks Vicky!!!!
This little card which is like a tag. Sam got the idea to use Cambria's envelope basket for her template but she used cardstock instead of an envy

Carolyn came up with this card. I love how she brings masculine cards into our mix. I always have some on hand thanks to her. I really like how this card turned out. Thank you Carolyn!

I cased this idea from Dawn. She ALWAYS has the best video tutorials & really cute ideas. The pocket card is really an envelope. A fun little quick pick me up card for a friend! Thanks Dawn.

OK, this is what has been keeping me away. Jessica Sprague has a class called"Up and Running" for those of us who haven't the slightest idea of how to play with Photoshop Elements. I can honestly say I didn't think I was capable of doing a layout using digital supplies. Jessica makes learning so fun and easy and her website is set up in such a way that help is right there at your fingertips ....LITERALLY. I have enjoyed myself so much I am definitely taking her classes from now on. You have access to video tutorials, printable instructions, forums, galleries, you name it. If you have ever toyed with the idea of wanting to learn Photoshop, I promise she can help you do it. I am not being paid to say these things either. This comes from the bottom of my heart. You will love it! OK enough said on that. I made the top page from an alphabet by KPertiet and the papers, brushes, grid & instructions of Jessica Sprague.

This page is using the same grid & brushes that Jessica supplied. The paper is from ShabbyPrincess and the flowers and alphabet are from Ellie Lash at Sunshine Studio Scraps.
I now have started on a journey to document my travel thru life with this new found love.
Yes I admit I am an obsessive, compulsive personality when it comes to stamping, digi scrapping and GINGERBREAD.......cupcakes are sneaking in there too!
Hopefully it won't be so long in between now!
