3D Card & More

Rachele, Jenn & I finally were able to coordinate a play day, seems ages since we 3 have gotten together & we had a great time I must say. Rachele came up with this 1st card, hard to see but we scored the front at 1/4 inch intervals which gave it a nice texture, Rachele decided to use crochet flowers which I have not used before. they added a nice little touch with the button centers. Cute card Rachele....thanks!

I made this card for a wonderful friend, Laura, who FINALLY went to have her knee fixed. She has had problems for as long as I have known her it seems. She is out of the hospital now & recouping at home for several weeks so I hope to get up to see & stamp at least once with her. Anyway this is a get well card I made for her using Dustin Pike's image of a BooBoo Dragon.

This is the card that the creative brain came up with....that is Jenn from Just4funcrafts.com. I went to the store one day & she showed me a card by a major card company that a friend had give her so we decided between the 2 of us we could come up with a similar template and made a cupcake card gift holder (I will have to post that too...I forgot to take pics of it). Anyway Jenn decided to take it one step over the top and came up with this flowerpot card for us to make. Her card is actually more in bloom than mine and Rachele hasn't posted hers yet but it were sure fun to make.

This card obviously will not fit in an envelope so I am going to have to make a box to send it when I make another one.

My track is a little loose on this so it slides a little more off center than I like but inside there is room to add a little gift card holder or simply add a sentiment. Love my card Jenn, thanks for your creative brain!

Last card was made using the Wild card cartridge, I should have inked it more but didn't....next time. Thanks for stopping by & happy stamping!

Award Time

OK , it's been awhile again but i have been playing a little bit and thought I would show you. I was inspired by a mother/daughter blog called Craftiblog.

They have a tutorial for this unique card so I had to play. I love the way this card turned out. paper is SU! ant the rooster is Sizzix. Sentiment made on the computer.

Wednesday when we got together Carolyn brought this card for us to make...she cased it from SCS but couldn't remember who so if it is yours....yell so we can give you credit.

I made this crazy card with the Cricut Wild Card cartridge. Nothing fancy just a little different.

The flower pot card was an inspiration from another blog tutorial by Stephanie Luman.

I thought her idea was cute so had to try it. Thanks Stephanie.

Dustin Pike has these adorable digital stamps so i had to buy some from him. I love this little monkey with his cheeks stuffed. Fun digital stamps, he has some freebies too so go check him out!

Marie brought this card for us to make on Wednesday....easiest card i ever put together. She stamped it and had it all cut so all i had to do was assemble it. Thanks Marie, love the colors!

This is the card we made that Sam came up with. Again I love the color combo and this monkey is adorable. Great card Sam!

Wow, where has time gone. I have been pre-occupied with my new volunteer program and my niece. I have been volunteering at The Cancer Treatment Center of America. My niece who is battling breast cancer is being treated there so I have spent a great deal of time down there. I don't think I have been to my stamping group for almost a month now and I miss my friends very much. Miss Jenn at just4funcrafts.com has prodded me almost daily to get my mojo in gear but I think my mojo went on a long vacation and didn't tell me where it was going. Jenn keeps posting these knock your socks off cards using Dustin Pike's digital stamps and I think my mojo got wind of it and decided to cut it's vacation short. Anyway, trying to get back in the swing of things, I finally printed out a freebie from Dustin's site and made this little card. I did cheat a little, the background paper is really a wallpaper border. it just screamed at me that it loved the Monkey so I caved in . The tree and leaves are from the cricut wildcard cartridge. The sentiment and cardstock are SU! Little brown vines are waxed linen from just4funcrafts.com. Hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by! Sorry the picture isn't the best!
