Number 2

Today is a good day for #2, (not the body function....sick) but for the 2nd Annual BrownTown Hoe Down. We are going to our friends for a big shindig with a live band, BBQ, Petting zoo, pony rides, fire pit, dance lessons, blue ribbon bake off, checker contest, sack races, pinatas, pin the tail on the donkey....the list goes on. They are known to throw the best parties around and we love spending the evening with good friends, family & the opportunity to meet new friends. I did a page for the Browns using KathrynEstry_CowTownCuties Kit. Love this kit! This morning we were surprised with our second calf. This is Brindles first calf and she is turning out to be a good mama...thank goodness. She does need to teach her little heifer that eating from the wrong end can get messy if done at the wrong time...LOL. Hope to have some more stuff posted in a few days. I have 3 of our 5.4 grand kids here until Sunday so I am busy having fun with them. I do have a few more cards to post....til then have a great weekend!

The fun has begun!

I was really surprised to find this little girl in the pasture this morning. I didn't expect any calves til the end of next week but I am not disappointed by any means. New babies always make me happy. The momma is CoCo. Not sure what this one will be named. Our grand kids always name the calves. We have Popsicle, Cupcake, Brindle, Veal, Daisy. Pansy, CoCo-no-nuts, Dora, Butterscotch, A red cow that never was names, 1314 & 1291(dairy#'s assigned to them) and now this little heifer. Just thought I would share. I do have some cards to share too, I just need to take pictures of them. Have a great day!

More Valentines

My neighbor Vickie, who happens to stamp with me too brought me this cute little Valentine goodie. It is self standing, filled with goodies & has a secret pocket with a sentiment inside. Very cute idea Vickie, thanks for being so thoughtful!

I made a hybrid Valentine popcorn goodie using Serene by RW Be My Valentine Kit at Bouquet of Pixels.com . This was a fun project to make. I love this kit, it has so many nice elements & papers....go check it out. FYI...as of this post it is on sale too, not sure when it will be back to regular price.

My next project is another for DH. he loves to munch on nuts so I thought it was appropriate for me to make him a present telling him I am nuts about him.(smile). I used a variety of punches, nestabilities, cricut & creative elements to get the layers...the acorns on the heart are a Quickutz die and the words & nuts on top are on a printed background that says I am nuts about you that I did in photoshop. Hope my Valentine likes it. I am sure he will make some comment about how this gift is worth hundreds of dollars(because of all the tools it took to make it) and if he does I will explain that these tools are MUCH cheaper than paying a therapist & they will provide years of therapy for me...(smile). Have a Happy Valentines Day! Thanks for stopping by.

Sweets for my Sweet

I made this little box of sweets with photoshop, the background paper & ribbon are flat but the scallop is made with a Martha Stewart scallop punch. I picked up the Vial-ette's and the self curling ribbon from just4funcrafts.com. The sweet is stamped with a SU! stamp & the ovals are punched with mega & giga scalloped punches. Thanks for looking.

You're the Man

This digi kit is HUGE! Great masculine Kit and you could get it free too....check it out here at Bouquet of Pixels. I made these pages for DH & DS. They are feeling a little low since it has been FOREVER since they have been drawn for anything. Thanks goodness you don't have to be drawn for fishing. LOL. You're the Man is the name and there are I believe 18 different designers who went in to make this great kit. Tons of papers & elements to choose from...go check it out.

I haven't been posting due to the fact I have gone over my allotted bandwidth time & my upload & download speed has been reduced to dial up time for the next 30 days. It takes me about 2 hours to download 40 MB . Stinks to be me! I understand why they do it but I just can't stand to pay $100 a month to up my time so I will just have to learn to control my urges to download so much! I am going to try to post again later. I have made a cute little treat and want to share. Have a great day!
