Prayer Request

I don't normally post anything like this but I am asking you to keep two very dear friends of ours in your prayers.

Randy was involved in a roll over accident Saturday, he is in critical condition with multiple things going on. He is going to have a long recovery and if you could keep him and his family in your prayers I would really appreciate it.

My second request is for a long time for Barb, she had a heart attack at the age of 54 on Sunday and underwent bypass surgery today. It is so hard for all concerned to see her go through this and prayer is appreciated.

Thank you all.
Lois

Erica's Wedding

We attended our friends daughters wedding and reception on Friday. I took some pictures and made a couple of pages as a keepsake for her. It was a beautiful wedding and a blast at the reception. Her family is wonderful, we have been friends since our freshman year of high school. The brides dad(also a friend since high school) is a riot. He put a wig on with a top hat & everyone was calling him kid rock. He had no idea who kid rock was but he was a dancing fool & made the reception wild & crazy. Just wanted to share. Have a great day.

WOW Birthday Week

My Birthday isn't even here yet and I feel like it is Christmas already. I am one of the luckiest people to be surrounded by such thoughtful wonderful group of friends. Thank you all for a wonderful week!!!!!

My SIL Deb made this purple card for me along with a **********GINGERBREAD THROW************, then she made the adorable bag to wrap it in. She knows I love purple too. I snuggled in it last night and it is not only soft but toasty. Thanks Deb!! Love it.

Sam who isn't suppose to do anything but cards, not only made me this adorable card with the fabric band but the black with pink polka dot bag is a **HOMEMADE** gift for my stamping goodies. I carried it all day yesterday to show off my goodies. Love it too Sam~Thank you!

Jenn
gave me this adorable Halloween page & card. So darn cute. You need to go check out her blog here. She does the cutest darn things! Check out her new rectangle coaster books that you can get at the store. Thanks Jenn!

Carolyn made this beautiful dragonfly card. It is so pretty in person, the picture just does not do it justice. Thanks Carolyn.

This is a card from Vickie, she even decorated the envelope to match. Too darn cute. I am going to use the paperclips for bookmarks. Love it Vickie Thank you. I just wanted to add that not only did my friends make me goodies but the made quiche, fruit salad, bagel chips, blueberry muffins, pumpkin coffee & to die for lemon cupcakes. Great Friends!!!

These are BRAK's from SCS gals, Thank you Jeanne(flyfishchef) for the sweet pink card & the green card (which says- age is only a number...(inside)mine is unlisted) is from Diane(djuseless) I was so surprised to receive these. I love getting Happy Mail. Thanks again both of you.

I cased this card form lholgate on SCS for our Wednesday stamp group. The Stamp and cardstock are SU!, not sure of the paper.

Sam cased this card from Kim Rhead at Pink Cat Studio. I love the colors, darling card Sam.

Vickie cased her card from Dawn's Stamping Thoughts.
Love this card....She also showed us a card for next Wednesday that I can't wait to make...Darling Santa card, be sure to check it out next week. Thanks Vickie.

Carolyn always finds elegant cards for us to make. She found this one in a SU! catty. I love this card and how it turned out. Thanks Carolyn! Love it.

I got a wild hair and decided to attempt to make a box with the knowledge I have gained from Jessica Sprague. I never would have tried this if it hadn't been for the excellent instruction she gives. She makes it all seem too easy & even though it took me awhile I was able to accomplish it. I had a blast & decided to fill the Halloween boxes with goodies for my grand kids. I made a template 1st & then had fun with this AWESOME freebie kit from http://cinnamonscraps.blogspot.com. She makes adorable kits. Thank YOU!!!!

The box is about 7 1/2 inches tall & 5 3/4 inches wide. 3 inches deep.

I just couldn't stop there so I played around with Mary Fran's GingerFellas
kit that I picked up at
www.nitwitcollections.com. I love this kit.......it is the same kit I used to make my blog header out of. I love gingerbread kids so you may end up seeing this kit used over & over.

Thanks for looking, Sorry this is such a long post but I had to show all the goodies that happened this wonderful week. Have a Fantastic week yourself & happy Stamping....or digi-ing!

SCS Pink Challenge

I took the challenge at SCS to do a digital page using a picture as a background & incorporating pink(Breast Cancer Awareness Month) into it. I used a pic of my 2 year old DGD, made an overlay with a frame from
www.twopeasinabucket.com Cherie Mask and
the entwined overlay on top of that from Kirsty Wiseman at limegreenbogiegirl.blogspot.com.
I haven't been digi scrapping lately so the challenge inspired me.
Have a great day!

I got this idea from Ann Clemmer . I love these great gift card holders

WHOO HOOO- Free Class

I am so excited!!!!!! Jessica Sprague is offering a FREE ....you heard it FREE class, open to everyone. I have posted the flyer below with info. If you have ever wanted to experience one of her awesome classes, now is your chance. Go check out the details HERE.
Sorry some of these pictures are dark & blurry. I was taking them in the wee hours to get them posted & the lighting sucked. The cards are actually very nice in person. Marie in our Wednesday group came up with this card. The paper is actually white( I told you the lighting sucked) I even brightened it up in photoshop but when I managed to get it to white I lost the cuttlebugged detail so I decided to leave it a bit dark to show the detail. Great card Marie!

Here is the card I cased from Beate. Hers is actually a box but I thought it would make a nice card. The patterned paper is TAC, Stamp is SU!( It is one of the stamps that comes with the punch)

I just wanted to show you the bag I decorated to wrap my SIL birthday gifts in. The collar is a full 12x12 sheet of cardstock. Paper is SU! Sentiment made with a Justritestamper.
Sam was shown how to make these adorable little candy spiders from another friend Sue Ann. I believe Sue Ann cased them from SCS. They are made with 2 SU punches, the scalloped circle & the photo corner punch. Jenn and her DH came over for dinner so I made up a bunch for after dinner mints. Now I am going to make more for my grand kids, they will get a kick out of them. Whoever came up with the original did a great job!
Sam had several adorable cards so we cased a couple of them. Her sentiments are TAC stamps. Not sure of the paper, cardstock is SU!

I really love this purple card. Sam found the cutest paper and cut it all to pieces so we could use the bats. The bat at the bottom is from ribbon that she cut up. Love the cards Sam...Thanks for sharing them with us.
This last card is so pretty in real life, Carolyn cased it from a SU! catty. She had us put stickles on the branches & pine cone which just made it sparkle. Love it Carolyn. Thanks

That is all for this week, busy weekend ahead, hope you all are enjoying this beautiful fall season. Don't forget to check out Jessica's class. Happy Crafting!

Happy Birthday Deb!!!!

Wednesday we make Count Dracula boxes which I have already posted so I only have Vickie's card to show you. I love the colors she used which is Not quite Navy & Silver. We used Lovely as a Tree stamp set. Blue stickles were added to the brads & middle tree. Great card Vickie....Thanks.

I made Deb (SIL) a birthday cake using nuggets. I got the idea from Laura . I decided to make a cake box for it. I used the Justrite stamps for the sentiment. The happy birthday sign was made using my Cricut. The paper around the nuggets is TAC paper. Hope she likes it.

I made these two Halloween cards which are OK........Stamp set is SU! Eat drink & be Scary from the holiday mini. My BIL smokes cigars & my SIL gave me some boxes so I altered one for her birthday. I cheated & used stickers too. She loves clocks & antique cameras so I tried to carry that theme out on this . Happy Birthday Deb!

Til nest time....Happy Stamping!
