Last One

These didn't turn out as cute as I had envisioned them but thought I would post them anyway. I need different white ink than kraft for sponging I have decided. I had this hair brain idea to make a Cyclops so this is my feeble attempt.

I made the ghost.....I know it is too square for a ghost but it is going to have to do for now....I am going to go clean now & see if maybe I might get so mojo back.

On A Roll

OK, since seeing Cambria's Mr. & Mrs. Frank my mind has been on a roll. I love the new Top Note Bigz Die which happens to be a SU! exclusive die. It does become available tomorrow in case you are wondering. If you need one email me or see your SU! Demonstrator.

I made the count using the 1 1/4 " circle punch. I was off a little one one side so he has lopsided sideburns. Either that or he has a barber that isn't very good. The pumpkin top was cut with a nestibility, I free handed the seams, mouth & stem(also cuttlebugged), leaves were ran thru a cuttlebug folder and the flower was found in the bridal section at Mike's.

Sorry this picture seems washed out. Hope you don't get too bored with this die before I am through...LOL. Off to play....Happy Stamping!

When Frankie met Ginger

I just could not resist making this Frankie & then the gingerbread girl popped into my head so I thought I would introduce them. Cambria Turnbow made the cutest Mr. & Mrs. Frankenstein which inspired me. Go check out how darn cute the pink one is. I followed Cambria's instruction for both. I used the new SU! Top Note Bigz Die with Green Galore & Lovely Lilac for Frankie and Creamy Caramel for Ginger. Frankie's bolts are made with the retired SU! snowman punch.

The gingerbread scrolls are from the PaperTreyInk stamp set Boxes, Bags & Tags . I free handed her eyes & and put liquid applique on her mouth.
That's all for now, y'all. Happy stamping!

Sad Day

Yesterday my SIL's Mom gave up her battle with cancer. It is a very sad day but yet again she is no longer suffering and is in a much better place. No matter how prepared we seem to be it is still hard. I made my SIL, her dad and her siblings cards today. I pray their sadness is replaced by all the wonderful memories made by this great lady.

I used retired SU! sets to make their cards.
I also made some cards last week, really not the best pictures. I found the Santa stamp at Mike's, his beard has stickles so it really sparkles in the light.

I found a site that has wonderful vintage printables. It is a site called Digital Imagery Plus . I printed out some atc size Halloween images & made these three cards. They have the cutest stuff in their store too....go check them out Here.

I didn't go stamping today, it is also the anniversary of my dad's passing 2 years ago.

Hopefully next week will be better & I will have some creative juices flowing again. Grandkids are walking in the door so I will post more later. Happy Stamping!

Finally Friday

I am glad it is Friday, DH has been in Houston this week and I am glad to have him home before Ike hits. We have a good friend who is a firefighter on the FEMA team who has been sent there & is in Houston to help with any problems that may occur....I am keeping him & the rest of the people in the path of Ike in my prayers.

This is a card that Sam came up with for Wednesday(Her birthday). She cased the idea from Lindsey who was kind enough to share her template. Thanks Sam & Lindsey for the cute card. I ended up using a cuttlebug for "nuts" & then used crystal effects to paint a glaze on the carmel.

Not too sure about this card. This is a new SU! set "Happy Blessings" that is in the Holiday Mini starting October 1st. I embossed the pumpkins, gourds, sunflower centers & blackbird. The blackbird paper is from Debbie Mumm's collection.
Carolyn came up with this adorable card, She used Debbie Mumm's paper pack also. I am not sure who the stamps are by. I had to leave early on Wednesday & in my haste to finish I forgot to put in my eyelets so I made faux eyelets when I came home & them topped them off with stickles to make them shine. Carolyn you outdid yourself like usual. Thanks!

Alyce brought 3 different sizes of these little baskets to show. She said she followed the SCS "treat Box" tutorial so when I came home I had to try it. I took it one step further & put an eyelet in the center of the bottom to help hold the creepy candy sign I made. The creepy candy sentiment and the pumpkin are PaperTreyInk stamps. The paper I picked up at Mike's.

This last card is Sam's birthday card I made for her. The stamps are stubbies from Stamps by Judith. You can not see the stickles but they are everywhere on this card. It really shines in person. We had a great time at Sam's. We ate a wonderful lunch of Italian Wedding soup made by JoAnne....yummy. Carolyn made a delicious cake, Marie made Cookies & I took a salad. Very yummy lunch ,Thanks girls.

Alyce helped us make these darling little bags. I love how easy they are & she cased the idea from Cambria Turnbow . Can't wait to make some more. I suppose that is all for this week. Hope your week ahead is a creative one!

Crazy week

What a week this has been. My DD & her family are moving into their home and out of ours, Youngest DD has found out they are being stationed in San Antonio, Tx. DH was suppose to be on a trip to Houston for business but that ended up being cancelled due to Gustav so now he is scrambling to make arrangements to make up for that trip, My Niece's baby shower is today so I have been getting her goodies together, another friend had a wild and crazy Bday get together in Cave Creek last night, I missed an appt to have my blood drawn on Friday but I still managed to go stamping on Wednesday. I make sure I don't miss the important commitments..LOL. I wanted to answer a question that EVONNE asked regarding the template for Ellen Hutson's Witch shoe pattern, It can be found HERE. Any way..... This is a giant tag to go on the baby shower gift for my niece. I used a Justrite stamp for the monogram on the onsie I cut out with my cricut. It is hard to see but i put little bug around the border & made their wings sparkle with stickles.

This is a card we made at Sam's. She saw a card in I think Stampers Sampler so we improvised & came up with this little Beewitching little card. The little bee has stickles sparkling all over her. Curly black ribbon is from just4funcrafts.com, not sure who the stamp is by. Sam bought it at a LSS I believe.
Diane came and it was great to see her. She has decided this year to not send Christmas cards to friends & families but instead send a letter telling them how all the Christmas cards she has made have been sent to the troops to send home to their families. I love her idea. I love the card too. I have been looking for this Santa stamp since Alyce told me about it but haven't been lucky enough to snag one. Thanks Diane for the great card. It looks like it is on yellow cardstock but it isn't that is the paper i put it on to take the picture. Santa has stickles on his beard ( I stuck my thumb in it while it was wet so it is a little messy on the left side).
I bought this stamp along time ago & finally let it see ink. I used colored pencils & gamsol to blend. The sentiment is SU! Heard from the Heart.
This card is cased from one I found online somewhere. The picture says Shirley Ross(I believe). The watermark is really small & hard for me to see so I hope I am giving credit to the right person. She used a flourish on her card & put pearls on the ends & around the flourish. I decided to make french knots with red floss. The flowers & sentiment are SU! Fresh Cuts. Rock N Roll was the technique.
This last card was inspired by Lauren Meader . It is hard to see but the yellow hive is embossed with a honeycomb fisker plate. The branch is SU! & the bees are CTMH. That's all I have for this week. Hope you have a great week ahead! Happy Stamping.
