Mini Star Album
The irrigation is done & since my DH stayed home to take care of it I had time to try another tutorial. This is a mini star album that can be used for pictures or even a cute recipe holder. My good friend Laura showed me how to make these and I thought I would share them with you!
You need to start with 4 sheets of double sided paper. Cardstock doesn't fold as nice as the paper and when you put the backs together, paper is really strong enough. You could make chipboard covered front & back covers if you wanted to. I used SU DS Spring Showers double sided paper. (All products used are SU unless otherwise stated.) Kraft glue, bone folder and the pattern.
The pattern is on a 12 x 12 piece of cardstock.
I cut the top left had corner off and reused the piece for pockets. The top right had piece was used for pockets & embellishments on the album after it was together.
Fold all four 12 x 12 pieces of paper in half & score.
Fold all four in half again & score.
Cut all four top left corners diagonally.
Next cut the top right hand corners like the picture.
You should have 4 papers that look like the above picture. You will want your fold to be a mountain. Glue the cut side on top of the flap on the right hand side so your paper looks like the 2nd picture. Do the same to all four papers.
Now glue two pieces back to back and do the same with all four sheets until it looks like the next picture. You do not want to glue the last piece to the first piece. If you do you will not be able to close the album.
Once it looks like this it is time to decorate it however you want. Have fun and thanks for looking.
Front & back.
Geez...I forgot to tell you what all I used...
